Yesterday, we began the process of removing the boilers from the Cogen facility of the Jay Mill. The first section was 12' wide, 14' deep, and 70' tall weighing in at approximately 350,000 lbs! That is one MONSTER section! It was so big that we called our friends in Southern New England, @Bay Crane , to lend us their Leibherr 1600 LR to make this happen along side one of our twin sisters (Leibherr 1750 LTM).

With two exceptional operators (Shay Flagg & Chad Calden) at the seat of each crane and an extremely experienced site leadership team (Tom Christman, Kevin Sirois, Kevin Capponi, and many more), this pick and walk went off without a hitch! It is the unwavering attention to the details of safety, hundreds of years of combined experience from our on site crew and management team, and nearly 50 years of being in the business that we are able to make things like this happen.

Moments like this are the pinacle of times that we can express how proud we are to have such incredible crews to make moments like this possible. To ALL the members of the crew - JOB WELL DONE !!

The winter months always have a shorter list, but that never means the list is short of talent! Don't let these guys fool you, they didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday and sure know a thing or two about a thing or two!

Ain't she a B-E-A-U-TIFUL thing?!

A unique look from the operator's seat of one of Bancroft Contracting's Liebherr 1750s, which has been an integral part of a boiler disassembly project at the Jay Mill. Don't forget the view looking down from on top of the smokestack, and the sheer size of these sections we're hauling away!

We're accepting applications, so this could be your future - APPLY TODAY!
